Twiggy flies out to New Orleans
In preparation for his assault on the 70.3 world tour Craig Twigg left the Uk on Tues for New Orleans and his first triathlon of the year, he will be facing a strong field including 2 time Hawaii winner Craig McCormack (AUS). Mar31st
Dale takes 5th
Chris Dale took 5th in his first race of the season at the East Leake sprint Triathlon. Chris, 17, commented that he was happy with his race and especially pleased with getting the 2nd fastest run split. Mar 28th
Dermot 9th in Tour
Dermot Galea took 9th in the Tour of Malta bike race last weekend. Using it as preparation for the Austria Ironman Dermot was chuffed with his form, especially given that he went into the race with tired legs.
Steven and Harriet at the Argus
In gale force conditions and despite getting blown off her bike Harriet Wares completed her first ever Argos bike race. Way to go Harriet! Partner Steven Small an old hand at the event was pleased to get round the 110km course without major incident. The Cape Argus is the world biggest mass participation bike race held in Capetown SA. Dermot PB's
Maltese Ironman Dermot Galea ran a 1.18.33 PB at the Maltese Half Marathon Champs. After 3 weeks of illness and disrupted training Dermot (and Dan) were chuffed with what was a slightly unexpected result.
Cath and Joseba come on board!
Cath Meo and Joseba Iztueta join Team Triathlon Solutions. Cath is doing the Edinburgh Marathon and is a first timer at the London Triathlon this year, Joseba, from Venezuela, is aiming to get close to the magic 2hr barrier at London this year.
Twiggy and Clarkie on the bowline
Will finished 1st and Twiggy 15th at the Bowline, a 14 mile hilly off road event in the Charnwood Hills nr Loughborough. Both we pleased with their races on a very tough course. Feb 3rd
